Andi Artani is a renowned television personality and former professional judoka, recognized for his exceptional skills in the sport. Born on October 11, 1996, in Brooklyn, New York City, Andi’s family relocated to Kosovo in 2000, following the Kosovo War.

Andi’s journey into the world of Judo began in 2005 when he commenced training at his uncle’s dojo, Driton Kuka, while also attending school. In 2014, Andi obtained his high school diploma in Linguistics from Bedri Pejani Gymnasium and subsequently returned to New York City.

In 2016, Andi joined the prestigious New York Athletic Club as a brown belt, where he trained under the guidance of Senseis Matsumura, Bendriss, and Johnston-Ono. After winning the gold medal in Jimmy Pedro’s regional tournament, Andi was invited to join the Club’s elite athlete program. His skills and dedication paid off when he was promoted to black belt just two weeks before the nationals. At the Salt Lake City event, Andi stunned the crowd, winning all four matches by Ippon and emerging as the under 90kg Individual National Champion in 2017.

His remarkable achievements in Judo earned him recognition and interviews with several TV channels in Kosovo, and he was featured on The Winged Foot’s “NYAC Hall of Fame 2017” magazine after winning the USA National Championship.
